I recently brought a new webcam and i installed it and i tried to get it to work. It records but theres no sound. And it was meant to come with an inbuilt microphone.
It is a mikomi, here is a picture of it...

Could anyone explain to me how to get the microphone to work as i can't find the instructions.

have u tried looking up the model on the internet maybe through google if you put the make of it followed by manual or instructions most products have an online instruction booklet
Reply:Try this, go to start open control panel click on sounds %26amp; audio, sounds and audio dialog box opens.
click on voice, go to voice recording and click on test hardware.
sound hardware test wizard will open , click next you can test the volume on your micke,
click next and you can then check for echo if you are satisfied click finish.
before you start make sure that your microphone is pluged in.

Reply:Control panel -Sound. Place volume in taskbar. Open it. In advanced set the microphone to show in the list (its muted by default)
