Hair straightener help?!?!?

Well I bought this remington straightener:

I bought it back in September


so basicly my friend bought a straightner at the same time and she had a problem with hers, the coating of one of the plates had come off, so she went back yesterday and they exchanged it for her!!





Basicly my straightener's lock is broken!! I mean it did used to lock but something happened to it and it kept on locking while i was straightening my hair, and now its completely broken, it won't lock!! So do u think i can try to get an exchange or something as I still have a 2 year guarantee??

As long as it's within the 2 year guarentee argos will have to do something about it if not they are breaking the law (im pretty sure of it) so i would take them in like as soon as possible and go and ask them about the staightners. I mean there's no harm in trying :)
Reply:Definitely exchange it or better yet, ask for your money back instead and when you are ready to get rid of that brand completely, DO NOT get a chi (1 in 3 of the chi flat irons get returned) get a FHI. They are AMAZING!

Also I say next time if you want to get a good straightener for not alot of money get the Remington Wet to Straight.

Reply:i dont know but that straightener SUCKS, get the remington wet 2 straight that one costs just as much (Target) and works 5x better!!! if u want to spend more money for a excellent straIGHTEner i say get CHI
Reply:ok.... for 24 bucks in any country.... your going to get a crappy straightener.... go to conair.comor something like that.... or google conair... and look up their ceramic straightener... :) and if that doesnt work ask yours or your moms or a friends hair stylist to get you one at their beauty supply shop... or try sally's beauty supply... :)
