Christmas Tree? Help me decide!!!?

Which to pick? We have a small terraced house, and can't have an real tree as we have a cat, a dog and crawling, toddling grabby 1 year old so the pine needles would be a big no-no!

A 5ft Green "Aspen" Tree: from Argos -

(Smaller, more natural looking, cheaper)

Or a 6ft pre-lit white tree (can't find a pic of it online but its lit with blue LED lights) - a bit more expensive and don't know if I can justify spending that much on a Christmas tree when theres pressies to buy also!

I can't decide!!! I wanted a nice tall tree this year but my other half doesn't want anything too big as our house is quite small . . .

Christmas Tree? Help me decide!!!?
Small tree on a table to high for the one year old to pull down if she/he is cruising or walking. But low enough for them to see and admire. That's what I did when we were in the exact same situation. We had a smallish pretty pretendy tree. One year we had a very small live one. But then you have to worry about if it lives or dies afterwards.

I hope you all have a lovely time. xx
Reply:get the argos one, unless you cant be bothered to do your own lights.
Reply:Take this into account when buying your tree -- next year your other half will not want to get a real tree either, and you will be reusing the tree you purchase this year -- so get the largest and best one you can, because they do last for a few years and that alone can justify the cost. I spent almost three hundred on my tree and this is it's third year and it is just as beautiful as it was the first year. So that is something to think about. Also watch the sales -- personally I am not crazy about blue lights on a Christmas tree, I prefer the white lights as it gives off a much more subtle glow.
Reply:My sister had a white one with lights and it only lasted one christmas, stick to the other one !!!
Reply:Get the argos one, I think you'd get sick of the white tree with blue lights after a while.
