Physics question?

When you feel or see a spark while touching a doorknob – after rubbing your feet across a carpet, the spark is referred to as …

A. static spark

B. electric charge

C. static discharge

D. electrical discharge

Physics question?
Static electricity.
Reply:B: static discharge

static because it is static electricity stored while rubbing your feet and discharge because all the energy stored in you is transferred from you to he doorknob and thus your body is discharged
Reply:C. discharge sounds more scientific, and i know its static and not electric because there's no real current. It hurts a little cuz there's more amps than voltage.
