no, you don't need a perm for that kind of hairstyle. but depending on how your hair is, you should use mousse or like surf wax or hair wax. whatever it's called

Reply:well you dont need a perm for sure but you need to have straight hair and if you need to style it then wet your hair a lil bit and blow dry for just a couple of mins like 2 mins then apply volumizing mousse then blow dry until completelydry.
